The year was 1914 and the place, Keshod, a small city in the state of Gujarat, India Where late Mr. Odhavji Nathubhai Dhakan opened the first Dhakan venture. The outlet brought out inimitable creations in gold that were the hallmarks of craftsmanship and finesse.

From these humble beginnings, the name expanded at a fact pace, making an ambitious foray into the UAE in 1979. Building upon the initial success as the first ones to introduce 22K Jewellery, thereafter Dhakan Jewellers diversified into 18K Italian and Diamond jewels.
